Rebranding for Tedic

Rebranding of a brand that bridges technology and human rights.

Based in Asunción, Paraguay, the organization is dedicated to promoting digital rights and free culture on the internet, creating spaces for exchange and the development of open-source tools, supported by innovative communication and advocacy efforts.

Using inputs from the operational plan and a co-creation workshop, we developed a design proposal with clear conceptual objectives: the brand must identify a cutting-edge organization situated at the intersection of technology and its relationship with people and their rights.

The brand was conceived with a strategy of contrast within the environment: simplicity and clean lines in a digital graphic setting that emulates artificial intelligence. This combination is flexible enough to accommodate the range of communication needs, ensuring consistency over time.

The result offers an important lesson in the specific field of design. After researching AI-generated graphics in 2023, the decision was made to opt for a human-generated visual, pushing a conventional design tool to its limits.

First, this allowed for greater control over the color variables, usability, and final aesthetics of the environmental graphics. Second, it refers to a less conventional form of artificial intelligence—that of software being tested for its ability to combine elements. It is like a trained eye, honing its skills through trial and error.
