Building trust in journalism through branding.

We work with media to design strategies that strengthen their identity in the AI era.

We are a design studio focused on branding for journalism. We work with media organizations to build strong, trustworthy identities — strengthening their connection with audiences and communities, and helping ensure long-term sustainability.

Because the lack of trust in the media is a global threat to democracy. In an ecosystem where platforms and broadcasters blur together, and algorithms dissolve identities, only a strong media brand can shape its own future.

Who we are

Media Branding is a joint project by El Surti, a reference in visual journalism and media innovation and Brandon, a branding studio with 18 years of experience. Together, we aim to strengthen regional journalism by building stronger, more resilient media brands.

For Whom

We work with digital-native media, legacy outlets, and journalistic events and products.

We also partner with multilateral funds, global organizations, private investors, media associations, journalists’ networks, and universities and fellowships that support emerging media ecosystems.
